The Junction, Hunslet 'Then and Now'

Nice to see you - to see you - Nice!!!thought I might never see this again - but the 'Junction' Courtiers(of which this is one ) have been revealed once more and the pub is to reopen - Good luck to the new owners - I hope other Secret Leeders will give it a try - I'll certainly have a pint there!

That is indeed a welcome piece of news - I suppose its too much to expect the number 12 tram service to resume on the same date ??

Well the Junction's up and running again - and, unknown to me - it actually has another Melbourne Courier - in addition to the two out side. When much of the leaded glass windows were removed they were put up in a framework above the bar - In addition to the Courtier there is also the lettering of The Junction Hotel that used to be on the Moor Road side and can be seen in the picture on the first posting of this thread! - a nice surprise survival.

A little late updating this thread- but the reopening didnt last long - and it looks like the Junction is now closed for good.

Did Hunslet Feast use the Moor on Moor Rd in the early 50's? I seem to remeber travelling on the 46 bus to my Aunties past this pub.This would be before the motor way was built.

I remember Hunslet feast on the land outside Park Side Rugby Ground i cant remember going to it on Hunslet Moor?
