(Not much chance of that these days.)I think I can remember a police 'star' being left on the glass doors of Farnley's on Armley Road too, possibly another Touch of Frost police station.

Out of the area, I know, but...The NHS Trust I work for sometimes allowed filming on our premises Clayton Hospital (Leeds Road, Wakefield) & Stanley Royd Asylum (Aberford Road) were both used in various episodes.Wakefield Westgate station was utilised as Denton station at times, complete with change of signage on the frontage

It's Farnell on Armley Road. They used to use the building for some of the internal offices too I think until they had a shift about and the brass at Farnell didn't want to share their offices.I work there you see. but on the Canal Road site. They also used the Cornmill Lodge hotel in Bramley for an exterior shot only once.

The cafe in the Merrion Superstore used to have a bit of card with "David Jason Sat At This Table In An Episode Of A Touch Of Frost" on one of its tables. Also the underground loos which were in Charley Cake park opposite West Leeds Boys, were used in an episode too. There should be hundreds of replies to this thread.
Sit thissen dahn an' tell us abaht it.

They used Coco Loco on Harrogate Road at Chapel Allerton recently for some Frost filming. I wonder if it will be for this series. Also used 47 Queenshill Drive, Moortown for some shots although this is goping back a good few years now, probably at least 10 or more. I got a signed postcard from David Jason then, no idea where it went though!!

Whoops! You're right, of course. It is Farnell's, not Farnley's. My mistake.

I saw the James Graham Building on the Leeds Metropolitan University Beckett Campus being used about four years ago in a scene where Frost was coming down the steps, as though emerging from a court building or similar. The University of Leeds was also used for an exterior scene of March in Windy City (not a Frost episode but a TV film starring David Jason) - he was dressed in a huge fur coat, and there was fake snow and hammer and sickle banners hanging from the walkways above Chancellor's Court! Not much work got done as we were all watching the filming from the window!

They've filmed on the Kennerleighs at Crossgates for at least one episode which also featured the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. For a while DI Frost "lived" somewhere on the estate sandwiched between York Road, Crossgates Road and the Ring Road, with the clock at Seacroft hospital clearly visible from his house. I think in more recent episodes he's moved across Leeds...In fact Seacroft Hospital has featured several times when they need a hospital setting - probably comes in handy as most of it is closed at weekends giving them plenty of time to film. There was also an episode filmed in Swarcliffe which made extensive use of the parade of shops on Swarcliffe Drive. Funnily enough shortly after that episode aired the shops used were demolished leaving only half the parade standing. The factories on Seacroft Ring Road / Limewood Approach have also featured a few times. I think that in the very early days of the show this is where the police station was set, before they started using Farnells. The building most often used as the court isn't in Leeds - it's actually Dewsbury Town Hall.An episode featuring Sean Blowers (formerly of Londons Burning)made use of the Dark Arches several times and also featured a car chase that went from Roundhay Road to the Dark Arches in seconds (congestion, what congestion?).The little deveopment off Wetherby Road by the gates to Roundhay Park also made an appearance, as has the casino at the bottom of Kirkstall Road.

I was an extra in the very first series of Frost, which involved spending a very chilly morning sitting on a bus in a lane near Eccup.I didn't get to meet David Jason, and if you blinked you missed me, but I got £30 and a fried egg sandwich!

Not mentioned yet and I know it's not Leeds but there was filming at the Carlton Lanes Shopping centre in Castleford. I remember the Wakefield Westgate station one where he was too late to go to London with his "Girlfriend" lol.
