On one of the busy roads into Leeds there is a rowof terrace houses.High up on one of the terraces is a stone sign built into the brickwork'Lake Erie Terrace'It is visible on Google Street View.I spotted it in the sixties on the upper deck on my way to work.Do all the super sleuths out there know where it is????????????

I spotted the Lake Erie Terrace sign when I was passing by on a bus on December 16 and had thought of asking SL why it has that name. On searching SL I however found this thread and that nobody had yet answered dogduke's query as to why the Lake Erie name was used? Does anyone now know, as I've been unable to find out? As the row of houses front along Stanningley Road it also seems odd why the Terrace bit is there.
