Hi guys.I spotted an old rusty box in the undergrowth today.Taking a closer look at it, it looked like an old electric box for Leeds city transport (i'd appreciate any feedback to confirm if it is tramways related)Does anyone have any ideas were this old relic can still be found?http://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn ... 604471643/
My flickr pictures are herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/Because lunacy was the influence for an album. It goes without saying that an album about lunacy will breed a lunatics obsessions with an album - The Dark side of the moon!

Hi Chameleon. It isn't the one near Crossgates. Like you say that probably went years ago,I think there is still the railings and steps to one of the tram stops on the reservation still isn't there?Yes it looks cast to me, judging by the rust.I'd hazard a guess it would be 4' high.It wasn't too big to be honest.

Yes they're still there - or maybe a reincarnation of them.Now... I wonder if this will work:http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&ie= ... 1764705877

there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.

Another shot showing the steps. remarkably this old tramways relic still serves a purpose - hence its survival.

Did you try that whoping great link in my post above Drapesy? First attempt at linking Street View - looking at your pic, they I believe they are the original ones as I remember them. Steps have been redone though, I remember that happening. (Come to that, I remember those houses above the garage being built too!).
