Old sayings

Does enyone recall the old sayings that were regularly used in times gone past. Heres one or two to start the ball rolling:he would talk a glass eye to sleep or talk off the hind legs of a donkey.kids should be seen and not heard. Yer too slow to catch cold.And so th ball rolls.
