Does anyone have any info about these:The air raid shelter which i've been told is under the pile of large rocks on the mound beside hyde park road. Is it all filled in. Are there any photo's of the insides.The stone steps which are adjacent to woodhouse lane as you go into town. They appear to be randomly placed and not attached to anything. Where are they from and why are they there.thaks very much.Smudge

There are bunkers which still remain underneath where the boulders are. You can still see where it is elevated if you stand at the junction of Brudenell Road and Hyde Park Road. You can just see into the entrance through the gaps of the bunkers and burnt out BBQ trays lol, which shows it didnt get filled in, just blocked off.
