Can anyone help with this one.I remember whilst at school (Farnley Park- 89-92) in English lessons we did/read a book which was about a young lad growing up in Middleton. It was about the authors life growing up on what I presume was the then newish Middleton estate, along with the pit and miggy woods etc. If I remember correctly I think one of his mates died in it. Does anyone have any idea what this book is called or who wrote it etc, as I would be interesetd in reading it again, and maybe paying more attention to it this time.
