County Arcade - Grates

Was wandering around town this afternoon, and I was walking through county arcade when I noticed some grates.Not managed to get any pics of them but I think there are three, gold coloured ones that are spaced throughout the arcade.They may just be simple sewage/ rainwater things but seeing as there were loads of people around I didn't want to get down on my hands and knees and look into one of them.Anyone got any ideas?
