myself and my friends started a dirt jump spot in adel woods back in 1999. after a couple of years the main builder was profiled on the bbchttp://www.bbc.co.uk/leeds/sport/extreme_sports/biking.shtml(i'm the first in the photo - circa 2002! wahay!)(have another of me! http://i1.pi nkbike.com/photo/12/pbpic12251.jpg - these photos were uploaded to that website back in 2001... amazing some of them are still there!)We then all went our separate ways to university, different cities, countries, etc in about 2003.After that a group of new people took over, didnt respect the fact that councils dont like unauthorised rubbish tips. The jumps were bulldozed. The thing is the site was never official anyway, it was just over-looked by those in power. it was no suprise when this happened, but it was upsetting for all those ever involved in the place. Kind of like the tide coming in and destroying your sandcastle... multiplied by 1000, or something.http://i2.p inkbike.com/photo/1043/pbpic1043184.jpgnow a year on, they have been rebuilt! if i am correct by the third generation of adel woods dirt jump builders!may they go on and still be around when my grandkids are looking on secret leeds!!!

No not near Pool.. The tunnel was on the 'Leeds new line' for any rail buffs out there..
