It was the 'Crown and Anchor' at 3 Dewsbury Road Hi drapesy when you say the top of Dewsbury Road do you mean up near Tommy Wasess ? If so does that mean the numbers rise as you go down to Leeds. I thought it would have been the other way round. I thought number three would have been at the Leeds Bridge end or am i being an old fool again.

I think Drapesy means this one, Sundowner. Leeds Bridge is off the top of the map. Dewsbury Road runs south, past Cave Street.

Indeed I do - meaning the 'Top' of Dewsbury road to me is the north - Tommy Wass's being at the 'Bottom' of Dewsbury Road!!!
