Perhaps sundowner knows. Is there still a branch there?Once saw a film called "Value For Money" - at the Rialto Cinema, Rodley, since you ask - and what I remember was one character claiming to have a tidy sum "in't Yokksha' Penny".All banks are reducing their branches, as more people, myself included, use the internet. Very rarely need to go to a branch. Hi Uno Hoo your right about the Yorkshire Bank its just at the side of Pudsey Market Place opposite Pudsey Town Hall.

Hi Uno Hoo your right about the Yorkshire Bank its just at the side of Pudsey Market Place opposite Pudsey Town Hall. Thanks, sundowner. I think my memory was slightly out from where you say it is. I think it must be Natwest at Lidget Hill/Lowtown.

Been a long time since anyone added to this thread, but there was a YPB branch on Austhorpe Road, Crossgates, opposite the old Travellers and the Chapel.

That was a branch of the Trustee Savings Bank, before Lloyds took them over.
