Prehistoric Stone Hut Circle in North West Leeds

I've just found out about this ancient site in Clayton Woods near where I live. I havent seen it but it sounds rather intriguing. According to the information I found its classified by English Heritage as a scheduled ancient monument as follows:ENGLISH HERITAGE's REF: SM 31527 ENGLISH HERITAGE's SITE NAME: STONE HUT CIRCLE SETTLEMENT IN CLAYTON WOOD ON THE SOUTH WEST SIDE OF IVESON DRIVE DATE OF CURRENT SCHEDULLING: 19/03/1999Does anyone else know anything about it as I think its rather odd that there is precious little information regarding the site. I'm going to go have a look this evening and if its light enough I might try and take some pictures - I'm not expecting to find stonehenge however and with the site been surrounded by woodland its probably going to be quite overgrown and confusing, I've also heard there are apparently prehistoric remains in the nearby Ireland Wood. I'll pop the pictures up later if there is anything worth reporting.Johnny

Hi folks!I went up to check out the Clayton Woods Stone Hut Circle site but I ended up diving in a skip on the way to the woods and so got distracted! Found some full bottles of organic plant feed (which my tomatos will enjoy!) and a couple of retro style clocks from the 1930s! Anyway as Penz has pointed out there are many more English Heritage schedulled ancient monuments to explore in and around the Leeds area. I will provide some pics as soon as the weather improves!Johnny
