Mushroom Bill

Hi I was reading somthing on this site with great interest, as it involed a place I grew up in. I used to live on Pollard Lane 'Bramley' in the early eightys. As a kid me and my friends use to play down by the river and explore the many old buildings and bunkers around there. We new a man who used to live in one of the bunkers, we called him 'Mushroom Bill'. He made us a cup of tea hear then there and let us play on his tree house by the river air, but one day he just vanished!I am just curious to know if anyone knows the man I am talking about and what happend to him.
