It was one of the only pubs in Pudsey I had never been into, it always had loads of scooter boys and other dubious looking people around it, several times I saw people outside on the pavement with blood all over them. One time I was driving home past it and there was actually a fight going on in the road outside complete with rozzers. Strange as it's in a nice part of Leeds. One wonders which pub will be next round my way?

Not been back in The White Cross yet but I do intend to.Strange thing is, although it's had new tenants for a while now and had a grand reopening a few months ago, the To Let signs are still up....wierdThat doesn't inspire confidence and I would say its almost certainly in the top five pubs likey to go soon in Pudsey...that would be a shame.

The Spotted Cow together with the Indian Restaurant in Drighlington have closed. Think they closed about a week ago.In Pudsey everything is closing... I used to work at Fulneck School and then the Cross/Fleece/Bankie used to be my haunts. We also use to go to all the pubs in Pudsey but alot have closed now. Fleece is still packed on Wednesday's though. Current owners of the Bankhouse have run the place down since the "upgrade"
