Ooh, not good eh?! My mate and I used to go walking there a lot a couple of years ago. We were never quite sure where they found Leannes body, bless her, but my mate never would go over the bridge to the other side for a walk. We usually walked on the left hand side, before you go over the bridge on the way to Norwood. I didn't know about the other body that was dumped there! It is such a peaceful place, but very secluded. Which is why they probably chose the area. Shame.

A lttle while after the Leanne murder, some mates and I were in Lindley Wood, cnat remember where exactly, but it was in sort of layby that came of the road, and had a hedge between the layby and the road so you couldnt see the entrance to a wood. You could get a few cars in there which we did, and the police even came. They said it was Ok for us to be there as we were just there an not messing a bout in Harrogte! Late on a car pulled up into the layby and a guy got out and started snooping around lookign at us and then in the ditch near the layby. Thought nothing of it, and then a few days later we found out that a body had been found there. One of my mates called the police and it seemed that it was the guy who had commited the crime and had come back as he had driven past a few times and seen people in the woods and lights. Coppers told us that we must have got him worried that we would find something!

Ugh, that's creepy isn't it? Yes I know where you mean. It's the Harrogate side of the bridge. He must have already put her there then? Which is even more creepy.

Leanne was found at the top end of the entrance, as you're coming UP the hill, you have the carpark entrance on your left, they've felled most of the trees there now for mountain biking, but at the top end of the slip road, there was the edge of the older, thicker part of the wood, and it was just a short way in, I went to pay my respects after & found all the flowers, but wouldn't be able to find the spot now, as it's changed, due to the felling. Makes me shudder to think how many more bodies there are there, but I think they'd have been found now with the amount of felling & digging that's gone on in the area to make way for the downhill mtn bike tracks. I don't know where the prostitute was found, somewhere in off the main carpark, but the copper shot by Barry was somewhere at the back of the car park........."if you do down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise........!!"

Bloody hell, you're not kidding! Ah, now do you mean the car park where the sign says Stainburn Forest? I meant around the bridge area, where you can walk on both sides of the resevoir? You're on about further up on the way to Time Hill aren't you?

The big long hill is called Norwood Edge, (with the communication tower on the top) and yes, I think it is known as Stainburn Forest (well it is in the mountain biking guides) I'm unsure about the name "Time Hill"-unless you've made a spelling mistake (LOL).

I remember the Barry Prudom case very well, the house where he was supposedly at in Seacroft was the house of one of my mum's friends, her daughter was Prudom's girlfriend. My dad lived (and still lives) just up the street and he'd never seen anything like itDidn't realise it was 1982 it all happened, long time ago
