always liked the Braimes buildingit being listed shouldn't be too much problem for change of use to residential even if they don't demolish it(which they can if it's allowed to go to rack and ruin), it woiuld make a great multi purpose workshop facility

Tell me of a development that has recently been granted planning permission within two miles of the Town Hall that hasn't had that description. Better than a chemical works yes but same old same old

(We're just a bit nearer.) Oh right.. I guess you must be nearish the Albion pub then? that was taken from the top of the ycl roof water tank with a zoom lens. a bit deceiving then?

Yeah, mate. About 100 yards down from The Albion - bang in line with your shot. I watched YCL coming down from our wall which backs onto the canal dead opposite. We helped clear the site before demolition. Strangely, we were neighbours for donkey's years and never did any business with them at all until after they closed!Incidentally, your other pic of the same view shows our small chimney - maybe it's a survivor for the Leeds lost chimney thread?!

Yeah, ?i happened to walk past the Dalek the other week and genuinely wondered if I was allowed to enter the building or not. There was security and it looked like an office foyer. If it going to house shops they better make it a sight more welcoming.
Ravioli, ravioli followed by ravioli. I happen to like ravioli.
