Boodle Am

I bought my first purple velvet loons in Boodle Am along with my purple velvet platforms sometime around nineteen canteen, however, my post is about the shop's location. Was it not originally on Woodhouse Street where the Leeds Met building is now located, roughly opposite the car park above the Civic Hall? Or am I having another senior moment?

Here's Boodle-am where I first remember it - on Queen Victoria Street in the early 70s, on the right-hand side as you look towards Briggate.It used to be on 2 floors. Great place. Will be missed.I also bought some Loon pants here for about £2.50.

I don't think that was the original shop. The one I remember wasn't nearly so posh. Someone earlier in the thread mentioned it being near The Merrion Centre. That's my recollection too. The road layout has changed so much that its hard to get the exact spot in my mind's eye, but I think it was up from The Coburg, on the same side of the road, but nearer to The University.
