Message from the organisers of the 'Strangely Familiar' Exhibition. PhilD take note...Photography CompetitionProject Space Leeds [PSL] is seeking your photographic images of Leeds to accompany our new exhibition, 'Strangely Familiar: Photographs of Leeds by Eric Jaquier and Peter Mitchell from the 1960s to the present', running until 10th May.In partnership with the Yorkshire Evening Post, PSL is creating a wall within the exhibition dedicated to photographs of Leeds and offering prizes for the best contributions. Images can be of Leeds now or in the past, and can focus on the people, geography, architecture or any other aspect of the city. Anyone of any age or background can take part. Please feel free to forward this message to anyone you think might be interested. Photographs will also appear online on the Yorkshire Evening Post website where there will be a voting facility so that 10 finalists can eventually be identified.The closing date for entries is Saturday 26th April, and pictures can be submitted in the following ways:• by email to [email protected] or [email protected]• in person at PSL, Whitehall Waterfront, during exhibition hours (Weds - Sat 12-5)• by post to Strangely Familiar Project, Features Department, Yorkshire Evening Post, Wellington Street, Leeds, LS1 1RF; or to PSL, Whitehall Waterfront, 2 Riverside Way, Leeds, LS1 4EHPlease ensure that all material submitted is clearly marked with your name, address and telephone number. Multiple images can be submitted but only one image per entrant will be selected for display. The Editor's decision is final.Every care will be taken to ensure that all photos submitted are displayed both on the YEP website and on the PSL exhibition wall, but the YEP and PSL accept no responsibility for any photos that are undelivered/lost.
