Thats another area that is undergoing massive redevelopment and there have been proposals in the YEP for Marshalls Mill already. Whilst there has been a sop to alternative uses, or something worthwhile it will no doubt end up the usual dearth of badly thought out executive apartments with a couple of "affordable" studio flats at £125k to keep the planners quiet.I can remember when that whole area of Holbeck was a bustling hive of activity with every building put to some use. We should be trying to preserve some of our heritage, not turn it into flats that are destined to remain empty as investments - lets not forget this was the birthplace of the industrial revolution.

I don't think that they can do too much to Temple Mill. It's a grade 1 listed building. The restrictions that English Heritage place on that are pretty strict and any 'improvements' would be very expensive; that's usually the deciding factor.
