Cycling;
- almost 30 years serious cycling
- not competitively any more, used to road-race, MTB race & Cyclo-Cross (cross was the last, think 2009 was my last event - still got the bike though)
Still ride for leisure/commuting/training/pure enjoyment of it, no matter what the weather (5 bikes)
Running;
- only been running since 2007
- run to work, member of a local Club, compete in ParkRuns (PB @ Pontefract = 21:10), & a few 10Ks
- prefer fell-running, but due to a foot-injury not been competed that way, since November (just started back on the roads even, at end of January)
- got my first half-marathon, since 2009, in 6 weeks (Ackworth Half)
Plus;
Railways, Industrial Heritage, Art-Deco, TVRs (almost bought a Cerbera, but had a XKR instead), Land Rovers, 'Heavy Haulage', Guitars/Mandolins (not got one, but would love a Gretsch G6120), pack-horse routes
Having a bit of a re-visiting of one of my previous fascinations at the moment, the 'Great North Road (the section from Newark, up to the top of Yorkshire)

Two of friends of mine 'roller-derby', for the 'Wakefield Wheeled-Cats' (& a girl at work, but I don't know her to talk to)
I sometimes see a girl, wearing a 'Hot Wheel Roller Derby' t-shirt at the ParKRun, at Pontefract RaceCourse
