While my own removed post was of no import, as I said, it does concern me as a general principle if contributors' posts are edited or removed if they don't contravene the T&Cs. We don't want to go down that road do we?

I was under the impression that Jogon's absence was unrelated to any other member or forum? I have to say I've missed seeing his posts myself.
I do think that, unless there is some reason to conflate that with other past members, this thread is wildy off topic.
Did somebody mention JohnLeeds above? I'll see whether I can email him if so.

Personally, I would be find it sad if Jogon simply marched out of here for whatever reason. I don't contribute much to this site, I know, but I have very much appreciated the information her and, I have to confess, the odd disagreement with cyclists, for example, kept me interested.
