Might be easier to post from external site, Flikr Photobucket, Imgur etc.
Just add the picture url, select it and click URL on the full editing bar.
Or the direct link to the picture select and click Img

Re: Posting a Photograph.
Photo looks fine to me Tilly - the uploader is designed to handle this, resizing it to fiti initially then expanding it when you click on it. If you want it smaller then yes, you would have to reduce it manually - however there's no reason to do that from a technical/site storage point-of-view, we've got plenty space for larger images now.

Re: Posting a Photograph.
can someone please explain how to add a photograph to a posting.
At the moment I use the 'QUICK REPLY' facility for posting a message but it does not appear to have the facility to add a jpg.
I assumed that it would be a 'save' and 'copy' - which we discussed at the party, but I still cannot find it.

Hi warrington.
1 .Press the button marked Full editor to reveal extra features.
2. Type your post as normal in the box shown
3. Press the tab marked upload attachment.
4. Press the white button marked Browse then locate the folder etc where your picture is( I keep them on desktop for convenience), select it then press the button marked Add file.
5. finally press button marked Submit and your post complete with picture should be on the forum page like so.

Re: Posting a Photograph.
I've just noticed that in chrome at least most of the images on this thread had both horizontal and vertical scroll bars despite not being very big. Clicking on each image exapnds it to full size and removes the scrollbars. Its a toggle thing as clicking on the image again restores the scroll bars
