If anyone else is willing to chip in I suggest we uncover it and throw the current manager in.

I can't get the current Google Maps to work so can't put a link here but that would explain the size of the bridge on Brown Lane [now] West which I had guessed was for Wortley Beck but was puzzled by the size of.Thanks LS13 for this interesting photograph -- I spent a while working out where the old Wortley beck ran using Google Earth and walking around the area and it seems I was partially right and I'd glad to have some of the mystery solved.Edit, turns out the Google Earth link to the bridge I noticed is at the bottom of a thread about Victorian Holbeck:http://www.secretleeds.co.uk/forum/Mess ... adID=2776I also found my thread wit ha picture of a bridge a little further up the beck as it is now:http://www.secretleeds.co.uk/forum/Mess ... D=4947Also means these boats I spotted on Lowfields Road aren't in such a silly place after all:http://www.secretleeds.co.uk/forum/Mess ... 1Apologies for all the links to my own posts but they seem to fit, I think.
