I've noticed that Scott Hall Road is getting a clean up and the roadside drains are being cleared so that they will actually take away surface water! Even the guided bus lane section is having its kerbs cleaned! Wow, it's as if there is some event that is shortly about to happen so the road needs to look tidy for it! It's just a shame that roads and drains are not otherwise cleared regularly. We clearly need more events!

The only good thing about the Tour de France, is that road repairs long overdue are being carried out by various councils so the picture of a cyclist going rear over apex isn't seen by the international world as they hit a pothole<LOL>.
Steve JonesI don't know everything, I just like to give that impression!

Passing on Scott Hall Road today I noticed that many tree branches were being been cut off, which I suspect will be for cosmetic appearance reasons for the coming Tour de France. Oddly, even branches on trees at the playing field on the way into Leeds after Potternewton Lane were being cut. Perhaps the cyclists are going to ride on the right!
