A story just popped up about Secret Leeds from my Google Alerts (they ping me an email any time a new reference to 'Secret Leeds' appears in Google's listings). I can only assume from the headline and the obvious tunnel entrance in the picture that this is the work of some SL site members http://bit.ly/1m5VqtG

Mmmm, tunnel! Perhaps the Kirkstall Abbey tunnelling monks had nefarious intentions!

I hope we don't need to weed out the culprit

That thing definitely comes out somewhere near Kirkstall Abbey. Or City Square, one or t'other.

I wonder which former engineering works this 'pot' factory was located in, my best guess would be the old Case Tractors factory just off Town Street / Grangefield Road as I think a large part of that was derelict. These 'farms' seem to be popping up all over Leeds, only a few weeks ago police raided a house at the top of Fillingfir Drive in LS16 which had been turned entirely into a cannabis 'farm', the place was usually let out to students and had been for years. Clearly the landlord made a mistake in letting the property out to his most recent tenants. The property went up for sale this week so it appears like whoever the landlord is has had enough - or perhaps he is in jail..?
