the woollen mill was down by the river on the spare ground at the side of the old bridge.

I always thought the station platform was alongside the pub, but that map makes it look like it was actually on the other side of the bridge. ie the same side of the road as Sandoz and the gas works. Is that right?

yes the platforms were at the Sandoz side the building at the side of the Stanhope was the station masters house.if you look on the transport forum for rodley /Calverley station there are some photos.
