I can remember Mum's divi number and the order number for her special prescription from the 1950s - but I can't remember why I went in the kitchen, or what I wanted to look up on Wikipedia after I left this page.

I must have passed this shop at least a hundred times on the bus I used to catch to and from a girlfriend's on Street Lane back in the 60s but I can't for the life of me remember ever having noticed it. Although I do seem to recall that the bus was a Circular - possibly No, 20 or 21?Divi number - no problem though. Likewise meaningless ancient telephone numbers and car registrations on old vehicles from long ago. It's finding my glasses where I struggle !
