It would be a good challenge to try and get the date exactly. It's after one of my neighbours started their extension, but before they chopped down all the trees in their garden (and the park next to it).At least my office now exists!

It's taken before the end of August 2006 (at least the Armley footage). The flats opposite Mike's Carpets are still there, but the new ones on Town St are still under construction (they're not even finished now)

Now that sounds like a challenge although different areas could have been mapped at different times.. If we pick one area to look at we'll all be singing form the same song sheet maybe?

Take a look at the other side of Monkbridge where the tracks used to come into the works J.F. after all these years the outline of them has suddenly appeared on this google image. I've never noticed them when i had a look on the site. It's funny how arial shots pick these things out!

My guess would be between the 8th June to the 11th June 2006! Just been having a look around Leeds on Google Earth and spotted an event at Bramham, and zoomed in a bit closer and think it's the Horse Trials. There's a lot of cars parked, and looks like horse jumps. Any one else agree?

Judging from the fence panels spread around my garden waiting patintly to be painted, I'd put the date for my bit towards the end of june. Anyone else noticed that some old underground features seem to have disappeared from the newer images?

It's a school day on my area, and looks like lunch or break time too!

I've just had a look at the air raid shelter on Cross flats park... On the last image all the grass was brown on top. On this one they've cut the grass around it & left on top, It stands out like a sore thumb now!

Is there an old tunnel for those sidings heading to the south, under the main line? You can also make out some track remains in the middle of Armley Gyratory, if you know where to look - I spotted them on the old imagery, helped in this task by having access to an old 1:2500 map.Another one that might interest you is the remains of the sidings from the turntable at Holbeck depot - you can see these radiating outwards at the west end of the depot. I worked on that depot quite a bit last year and spotted them then.
