You have two octagonal pieces, one player bats, the other player bowls. The batsman rolls his piece which gives his score until it rolls on to "owzat!" then the bowler rolls his piece and it says how the batsman was out - or on one face "not out".We made a computer simulation of this game for the long lamented Commodore 64 machine.

That's the one Major, I think I renamed it - incorrectly. If you look at Jogon's posting he gives a picture of it.

As a child I recall playing pocket cricket and know of pocket football (soccer) but I don't recall ever hearing of pocket billiards mentioned in the information brought up through the link in which it states "Pokkit Socca. Not to be confused with pocket billiards".

Despite much research I have been unable to discover a set of regulations or objects for the game, but an acquaintance has told me that the player must provide his own pitch and spheroids.I was never any good at games myself. It is noticeable that this game has recently become much more popular with the young since the advent of "tracky bottoms" as a fashion statement.
