Old rail lines Oulton near Leeds

thats interesting i didnt know that about coopers, but at the bend in the road past all the stone terraces is/was a quarry, about 30' deep right next to the 1st semi. oh and that cable thing on the way to lancaster, i think there were 2 the first time i cycled up there now theres just the 1, it has a website thing but could never get it to load despite making a note of it, all being well if i get up there this summer ill write it down and pass it on
