Help wanted with identifying building image
We've recently received an e-mail from Australia, asking if we can identify this building. The enquirer thinks it may be in or near Meanwood, as it was part of a collection of photos belonging to a couple married in Meanwood Church. We've been unable to identify the building from our Leodis images and have had no luck after asking on Twitter. Does anyone have any good guesses? One person suggested it looks like a synagogue - but, again, it doesn't match any other images we have in that area.
Thanks!

Re: Help wanted with identifying building image
my guess is that it is not in the area where the family lived.
From experience we take family photographs close to home, which include members of our family or friends.
Photographs of buildings and scenery, without people are usually of places we have visited.
Is it a photograph or a postcard?
Do you know the history, and interests of the people?

Re: Help wanted with identifying building image
Before I read the description I thought "synagogue". The two separate doors, one for men one for women give that idea but it doesn't always hold true, also the centre window on the ground floor is too "Christian".
Looking at the building to the right, it's a bit on the big side to be a presbytery, could it be a convent and the building the associated chapel? Again, back to the two doors. One for the inmates, the other for the laity.
