Decorated Bus Inspector

In the late 60's early 70's there used to be a ticket inspector that I used to see on the bus's around South Leeds. He was a distinguished chap with a boat load of medal ribbons on his chest one of which could possibly been the D.F.C. Does anyone else remember him and know his story.

I worked for LCT in 1965/66 as a Conductor and Driver at Torre Rd Garage there was a driver there I think his name was Price ,I think he was a bomber pilot in The RAF during the war .He used to wear his medal ribbons on tunic

Mr Price used to live in Cottingley Prefabs I went to school with his son , he used to have a Hardware shop on Cottingley then he went to LCT Buses I remember seeing a picture of him in the YEP with his medals l960's ?
