I think we've had this before and I'm sure the phorographer will confirm but in the vicinity of Bell Hill on the A61 between Stourton and the Jaw Bones. The Church spire you can see in the "foreground" just over a quarter of the qway in from the left will be Hunslet Parish Church a couple of miles closer than City House almost directly behind it but still getting on for 2 miles away itself

welcome aboard JMI'd assumed it was from that Holbeck/Beeston viewing point at the end of the graveyard but Leeds Uni tower in wrong place.I had to ask a postman to find that but quite a view. Able to see tail fins of aircraft up at Airport I seem to recall.

The recent cold clear nights have provided a magnificent "full HD" night time vista of the city as you drive down the M621 from Gildersome after dark. Sadly though I haven't had my camera and there is nowhere to stop and take a photo even if I did...

It was i, over 30 shots taken in portrait with a monopod on a cold day.The location, well that would be telling....But go on then, its from the footbridge that goes over the M621 as it drops down into Stourton. However all is not as it seems as there is a bit of editing done to remove an unsightly warehouse/factory down near Cross Green bridge.A bit of a con i know but hey ho.I would love to do a night shot from there, but home and work life prevent this.
