SecretLeeds 6th Birthday Bash

Hi everyone,As some of you may be aware, it's fast approaching SecretLeeds' sixth birthday on the 19th February. In the light of recent changes to the site, the extended outage before Christmas, and the fact that it's clearly long past time for another SL party... let's have one! I've put in a tentative booking for Friday 22nd Feb at The Victoria next to the Town Hall. Let me know if that's OK or if there's somewhere else/another date that you would prefer. They have a small function room available so we can hole up in there if enough folks turn up. I'll sort out some nibbles and possibly a cake too. I believe they sell beer at the bar (N.B. other beverages are available).Can't believe it's been five years since the first birthday, but SL pin badges are on my mind again - and not massive oversized things this time!I'm also planning to wheel out an old face that has recently returned to the SL fold Let me know your thoughts folks, it's your site and therefore your party, so all suggestions are very welcome. If you can give me an idea whether you would like to come that would be helpful for managing numbers.Cheers,dsco

Just been checking out today's Google Doodle (for ice rink pioneer Frank Zamboni). Google did one recently for their 14th birthday (only 8 years older than SL, crazy!) and it gave me an idea... What do you think about having a (friendly) birthday competition to refresh the header images for the site? They're very tired these days and I'm sure you guys can come up with much cooler stuff. Thoughts?

Glad to see the idea of a birthday meet up is still on the cards. Friday 22nd Feb would be ideal for me. Am I right in assuming that would be an evening do?

I'm suggesting Friday 22nd as the nearest weekend evening to the actual birthday.

Will struggle for Friday (work til late,off Saturday),but its all down to whats best for the majority.

Yes, count me in (whatever the date/time) as it would be good to meet up with other SL members again!
