Queens Hotel

Hi. Does anyone have any stories/information about suspected hauntings at the Queens Hotel, particularly any about a hanged man?I found a mention of it on another website but there was no detail and I can't seem to find anything anywhere else on the internet.Thanks

Thank you. That is a sad tale.I read on another website about the queens being haunted by a man who was shot and another who hanged himself but nowhere else seems to mention it. Hopefully there's some more info somewhere!

Right lisc !My late Dad worked at The Queens shortly after it opened until he retiredin 1981(aged 65)Talking to mi Mam last night who at 92 has a fantastic memory,no knowledge of any ghosts,hauntings or hangings,however there was a shooting !The manager during the war years,a Mr Veche/Veshy (?)shot himself but not in the hotel.He did it in his car parked in the goit/dark arches area.A pastry chef was also found dead,don't know when, in his caron Boar Lane,nothing sinister just a heart attack.
