I am only guessing but wonder if it has anything to do with Coronation Street, as Davy Jones of the Monkees was Ena Sharples grandson in the very earliest episodes. No doubt "..clue p94" will show I'm wrong. There must be some connection with Keith Waterhouse and Coronation Street (or not!).

Did Davy Jones make his professional debut in the radio production of "There is a Happy Land"?
