I am a member of research staff at the Institute of Psychological Sciences, University of Leeds, and am currently recruiting Eastenders fans for a short, paid study. We previously asked a set of non-Eastenders viewers to construct a facial composite of an Eastenders character, using some current police software. Now we need to assess the quality of these composites. Participants will be presented with a set of these facial composites and will be asked to attempt to identify which current/recent Eastenders character the composite was constructed to resemble. We are conducting testing sessions within the Psychology department, 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Testing sessions last between 20-35 minutes and all participants will be paid £4 for their time. To take part you must (a) watch Eastenders regularly (2+ episodes a week for the last 12 months), (b) be a fluent English speaker and (c) be over the age of 18. If you have any questions about the study, or would like to participate, please contact me- [email protected]. Please note that this research is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, and has received ethical approval from the IPS, University of Leeds (Ethics reference number: 12-0095). Many thanks, Emma Portch
