I had a bit of shock this morning to see large parts of Brackenwood sealed off with armed Police It seems they are filming some T.V programme or drama. I took a few photos anyway, although I couldn't see anyone famous.I must say they are very quick at getting things into place, there were only a few people about in hi-viz jackets and they had only just started to unload the scaffold when I went to the shop. By the time I got back they had erected the scaffold with the lights on, and this whole posse of camera and T.V people were in place.Men of action! The scene seems to involve these guys doing an armed raid! They've taken over a large part of the estate with their gear, real Police, and Council workmen are also in attendance. I bet the filming takes a few hours for a few minutes of actual film. Anyone any ideas what they are filming around Leeds at the moment?

If you find out what the filming is for I'd be very grateful if you could let us know. The camersamen in your photo are just outside the flat my ex-wife used to live in 30 years ago.

I don't watch much t.v really so I wouldn't know! It looks like the detective is the guy in the black suit and the woman in the brown coat is his colleague. The woman in blue helped by the ambulance man is the ''victim''? He shouts at her 'of course it matters' and she shouts back ' just leave me alone' and off she hobbles to the waiting ambulance!Rambo action!Si might find this interesting and be able to shed some light on it (pun intended) Some yellow type plastic sheeting has been stuck over the window where they are filming, the spot light shinning through perhaps to create bright sunlight outside or some hazy atmospheric effect inside?

Orange and Orange / Yellow + Blue filters can be used for "Day for Night" effect and dusk effects filming.

I've never seen the programme myself, but it looks to me like it's filming for a second DCI Banks?A bit more info herehttp://www.radiotimes.com/news/2012-03-20/dci- ... rt-seriesI reckon it's one and the same sharp suited detective? The grey hair and hair line match Stephen Tompkinson anyway     And the actress in the brown coat therefore being Caroline Catz playing his new sidekick.        Six new episodes of DCI Banks will be produced by Left Bank Pictures (Strike Back), with filming due to begin in Leeds later this month. The season will feature three two-part stories – Strange Affair, Dry Bones that Dream and Innocent Graves – based on the novels by writer Peter Robinson.http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/a37 ... rtner.html

We usually watch DCI Banks, so I'll keep an eye out for a mystery photographer lurking in the background....
