Hi guys!Nothing is concrete or set yet, I'm just testing the water first.I was thinking about doing a photo set with some old L.C.T buses.I was wondering if any ex LCT employees have any old uniform or kit that went with the job, such things like jacket, badges, clippie bags, hat or anything like that. It wouldn't be one of my normal type photo shoots, but a bit of fun 'On the buses' style set with a lady friend of mine for the added bit of glamour lol As I say nothing is set, I'm just seeing if it would be a good one to do. Any offers of help would be great. Thanks, and a Merry Xmas to you all P.S can a mod correct my title typo to ''Ex Leeds City transport employees'' please

As an ex LCT / Metro / Yorkshire Rider etc employee among numerous others on this board it would be a privilege, however even if I still had my old LCT uniform I am afraid that after 40 years it would not fit. After seeing your previous photos with your lady friend you would have to supply us all with zimmers and probably oxygen bottles as well.Good luck in your project and a very Merry ChristmasAnd this is how we used to look and proud to look that way
Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?

Ha ha, yes thanks Buffalo, I see you must have seen a few of my previous efforts. Certainly it's more fun than muddy tunnels for sure. I just thought a very tongue in cheek 'On the buses' type shoot would be good, try to recreate some of that good old fashioned saucy seaside postcard humour we had in the 70's. Any bits of L.C.T uniform would have been great. I'm sure I will come up with something.Cheers

I remember my dad in his bottle green trench coat with big silver buttons and LCT embossed on them. He was a driver at Headingley.
Is it me or has Leeds gone mad

Hi Blakey he was Joe Matthews Thanks book - I knew Joe very well and used to talk to him a lot about things in general - I remember him moving house from Woodhouse Street to Cardigan Road area. It all seems a very long time ago - well it is !!
