Thought i had dreamed this but i now have a photo of everyone who went on the Jumbo on the 4th Nov 1984 and i'm at the front with my stepdad and grandparents, wow. There were 2 flights that sunday one at 11.00am and one at 2pm. These were organised by the Yorkshire Evening Post to mark the opening of the new runway extension and were the first boeing 747 to take off and land at LBA. I was 4 years old and my memory of it is a bit fague but i do remember it.Does anyone esle have a memory of this??????

Hi Blakey I asked mrs Kango (as she worked in duty free at that time and remembers being shown around the aircraft)who the airline was and She confirms it was indeed Wardair.nice first post Beckster.
