I think a lot of the entries were better than the finalists.

"These pictures of an empty bus shelter, the Merrion Market and a loan figure engulfed in smoke may not portray Leeds in its most flattering light"So says Suzanne Mc Taggart of the Evening Post. A 'loan' figure Suzanne? Is he from Ocean finance perchance?. Nice to know the 'E.P.' is keeping up its usual high standards of journalism. I don't wish to carp - but what a pathetic set of photos in the final list- I've immediately deleted shots I've taken that were better than these, and I don't pretend to be a photographer. You're right Chemimike - there are a lot of much better pics on the Flickr site.
there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.
