The problem is I don't think theyhave proof reader. The journos' must just tap it out and up load/down load tosomeone else to slot in a 'suitable'space in the paper.Judging by some of their efforts I dont think they even read back through it themselves.

"The problem is I don't think they have proof reader."That's because they shot him already Some of those mistakes look like someone did run a spellchecker, but didn;t check what it was replacing their typos with.

Just seen this in the YEP - 'The chances of a White Christmas in the southern half of Britain were looking slim today - but it remains a possibility in the north.'Wonder if they've looked out of the window recently. First order incredulous numpties

Chameleon, I think they are talking about the bookies definition of a white Christmas as opposed to the visual. The bookies, to be fair ,made it an easier bet to win by saying a solitary snow flake falling on any of the designated weather stations represented a white Christmas. That is more likely than having actual snow on the ground. Unfortunately this year they are likely to get away with it because despite much of the country being covered in a white blanket of snow it doesn't look like it will be added to tomorrow.
