Used to get very good deals on evening meals. Mum worked there for a while too.The clock on the now Halfords roof is a replica of the one that was on the bowling green pavillion that was between the pub and the shops.Massive living quarters upstairs too.

The stop at the top of Churwell Hill, before you turn left to go down to Morley Bottoms, is called "The Prospect" after the pub that ceased to be there after about 1970, even though the stop is outside the "Nelson" pub opposite.

Funnily enough the junction at the former site of The Melbourne is still referred to as "Melbourne Roundabout", despite it being years since there was either a pub of that name or a roundabout there. You can also hear people on the bus asking for "Seacroft Centre" which was demolished a decade ago.
