Rolling Stones - 1971 at Leeds Uni Refactory

Quite by accident I recently stumbled upon the a Rolling Stones bootleg called "Get your Leeds lungs out" recorded apparently by the Stones at the gig.It is a grand recording (no links, but I am sure google will help you find it)I am curious ..... why did the Stones end up playing at Leeds Uni in 1971?There is a cracking wee series of links here about the gig:http://www.alumni.leeds.ac.uk/NetCommun ... id=732Just one more to add to collection of great Leeds Uni recordings (Who, Live at Leeds and the superb John Martyn Live at Leeds). So many happy memories seeing really great bands there (none better than Rory Gallagher or the occasional Lindisfarne Xmas Show)
