I've just been looking at this website relating to the trolleybus scheme:- http://www.ngtmetro.com/I have taken the following illustration from that site. Though I should be able to work out from the buildings I thought I would ask if anyone can please let me know where this what looks like a probably at least 8 lane road is located? It looks very pretty with the trees!

I see you have the old drawings Leo, wait till you see the new ones with exotic palm trees. The Leeds residents depicted walking about in shorts and carrying surf boards. It's been proven Follybus makes you happy - proudly says the slogan underneath

Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?

Yorkshire PostLeeds trolleybus plans met by long queue of objectorshttp://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/main-topic ... 20845#.The story about the large number of objections has also been run by the Yorkshire Post. Bradford's trolleybus enthusiast has already commented online.

Any reference or comparison to Cambridge is a smoke screen and should be countered with a few facts. Which I've done. I feel a letter to the YEP coming on.

Poetic licence Leo although it is dual carriage way up to the circus its here approx that the artist was doing his impression ofhttp://goo.gl/maps/gbcj8A pity that it isn't on the planned route . They have previous too. This link you previously provided http://www.tbus.org.uk/leeds.htm appears to show Bridgewater Place albeit incorrectly configured. The angle though would suggest the trams are on Manor Road or Sweet Street http://goo.gl/maps/oOGhl again a fair distance from anywhere near the route.I'm therefore inclined to agree with Buffalo Skinners observation
