It used to be said that the statue of the Black Prince had been placed in City Square , near the station, pointing South to tell all the southerners who've just got off the train to b****r off back down south!

That original photo looks like it's been taken at a really weird angle compared to the streetview pic.

Since the place has been found and it isn't Leeds, I'll lock it as it's now off topic. A large raspberry to the YEP for posting a photo of somewhere in Hull in a Leeds newspaper.
