I took this close-up view of the 'What & Where?' object today (April 29 2012). It is similar to the photo in Leodis that Phill gave a link to in a post on page 1 but my photo shows the relief better (well I think so! ).

A rainbow is a ribbon that Nature puts on when she washes her hair.

I thought I would add this photo that I took on April 29 2012. It shows the 'What & Where?' object but also shows the owl carving. Though similar to the Leodis photo that Phill gave a link to on page 1 I think it shows the detail better. The Leodis photo does though also show the small carving of the fleece with the 3 stars (those are also in the Leeds Coat of Arms along with an owl) but which is just out of view on the left in my photo. In case anyone would like to know, the fleece in the Leeds Coat of Arms represents the Leeds woollen industry and the 3 stars are from the Coat of Arms of Sir Thomas Danby who was the first Mayor of Leeds. The carving in the Leodis photo does not have the 'Pro Rege et Lege' ('For King and the Law') that is in the Leeds Coat of Arms.
