Ah, that view brings back a memory of my very first day at Central High.I had never been into town on my own before, so I didn't really know my way.I had to get the number 36 bus, and on the Saturday before I started I was taken into town to see which stop I had to get off. I had decided to use the Triangular building as a landmark - the idea was that as soon as I saw it I knew it was time to get off.It was not Jet cleaners at the time either, something a bit more bland. My problem was that I hadn't realised there was another triangular looking building, its still there, right next to the university at the top end of Blenheim Walk.Come my first day to Grammar School I was in a very crowded bus and no-one to tell me which was my stop. I was looking around anxiously for this building, and when the bus rolled past the end of Blenheim Walk I thought I had just gone past my school and was in a panic rushing down the bus to get out.People were pushed aside and I did get to the platform, only to realise after all that I had made a mistake, and had to sheepishly stay on the us after all - got a few dark looks I can tell you.If I'd known the way to walk down to Central High I would have got off and done so.Those last few minutes on the bus were very long ones.
