I am lucky were i live in Pudsey i can get a signal on a bit of wire Not that i use wire.Talking about saveing money I wanted a feed to our bedroom, in the small bedroom there was a ariel socket for my grand daughters tv so i bought an extension lead from Wilkinsons it cost about nine pounds.Drilled through the wall and bingo one ariel socket in our bed room i dred to think what it would have cost to get someone in to do it.They would have put a junction box out side and come through the out side wall.
No matter were i end my days im an Hunslet lad with Hunslet ways.

I was the same in Yeadon. The roof aerial worked fine but internal aerials barely get a signal at all. The roof aerial started leaking too so I had it rewired and a splitter put in to the attic. One thing to bear in mind with that though is that the impedance is important and you can't run more than a couple of set top boxes off a split cable.

Hi simong I just run one tv off the extention lead it allso has free view built in so we do not have any set up boxes. It must be a pain when you have a poor signal there is allways free sat B and Q them for less one hundred pounds. If you are handy its a cheap way of getting around the problem.
