I have just come across three very interesting documents under a series title ‘Leeds from Industrial Centre to Call Centre’ numbered 1, 2 and 3 (as I, II and III). As far as I’m aware they have not been mentioned on Secret Leeds before but I apologise if they have.http://www.westwindsinyorkshire.co.uk/a ... III.pdfThe documents are in pdf form and could take a minute or so to download.

I'm not just anybody,I am sommebody !

I can't recall seeing this mentioned before, but if it has Mods please delete.Leodis, in its "Available for Sale" section, is apparently still offering the "Leeds in Maps" collection of 12 historic Leeds Maps - plus an 1886 Leeds View - for £14.99. The items are A2 size, and the maps date from 1725, 1770, 1815, 1834, 1850 (x2), 1866, 1890, 1901, 1932, 1947, plus J C Gilhams' classic tramway plan with detailed track layouts. The collection (originally 10 maps) was first produced in 1989 by the Thoresby Society and Leeds Libraries. With the YEP also collaborating three more items were added for reissue for the 2007 Leeds Bicentenary event. I got mine at that time, and find them invaluable. If the Leodis ad isn't out of date I can highly recommend the set.

Hi there, just thinking this thread should be turned into a new and improved Useful Links section for the website. The current one is rather out of date to say the least. I'll amend it accordingly, but if you have any other suggestions that might be of interest/relevance, please post below.

In the 'British Listed Buildings' website there is a 'Listed Buildings in Leeds, Leeds, England' section that may be helpful. This is the link to the Leeds section:- http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk ... s/leedsThe list is though very long. It does not just cover listed buildings as there are some non-building listed structures named.
